After creating OOOOOOOO with eight international performers, Giulio D'Anna presents OOOOOOO (IT), the Italian version (with Italian interpreters) of the homonymous project winner of Anticorpi XL CollaborAction 2013. The choreographer was inspired by the “Museum of broken relationships” in Zagreb to address the theme of failed relationships and its ruins. The material presented is generated by the Curriculum Vitae of the performers and Italian statistics. Interpreters are asked to articulate verbally and physically memories and experiences of broken (love-) relationships. The desire of sharing personal memories, challenging the limit of what is comfortable and what is private, leads to the creation of a series of living documents of emotions that cannot be translated in words. OOOOOOO (IT) is a mirror of the sentimental state of young adults. It is a sort of postmodern musical that aims to offer a moment of self-identification and reflection.
