Yet connections are broken, remade. Shattered sexuality, the relation between man and woman, various -isms \u2013 all surpass one another, thrust new truths and proclaim the era of new gods. In this era the value of a human being is determined not by us, but by the system which we either match or not. We are complying with the dimensions measured in centimeters, with brands and purchasing capacity. The system prefers (uni)sex, (uni)you and (uni)him, because I\u00a0 hardly obeys.<\/p>\n<p>Inspiration source of the performance is MOTUS \u2013 creative motion enhancer. MOTUS is a wireless performance controller that collects data about dancer\u2019s motions and coverts it to gestures and control parameters for sound synthesizers and audio effects. The space around dancer becomes a touchless surface, a canvas that dancer can interact with and hear the sound feedback immediately.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cChoreographic language of the new work is fierce, based on the sharp and ensured movements \u2013 strong bodies, able to manage themselves, have already become a visiting card of AURA Dance Theatre.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">7md.lt., Helmutas \u0160abasevi\u010dius, Switches and Connections, 03\/06\/2015<\/p>\n<p>AWARDS<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>Golden Stage Cross (the most prestigious national theatre award given by The Ministry of Culture) to Gotaut\u0117 Kalmatavi\u010di\u016bt\u0117 as the best dancer of 2014 in performances \u201cMake the Switch from Me\u201d and \u201cApollo\u201d;<\/li>\n<li>Fortune statuette (the main award given by Kaunas Theatre Alliance) to AURA Dance Theatre for the best dance performance of 2014;<\/li>\n<li>Fortune statuette to Antanas Jasenka for the best music composition;<\/li>\n<li>Young Theatre Critics\u2019 award to AURA Dance Theatre for \u201cMake the Switch from Me\u201d as the best performance of 2014 and to choreographer Birute Letukaite for the development of the best creative activity;<\/li>\n<li>Young Theatre Critics\u2019 award to composer Antanas Jasenka for the best music of 2014 in \u201cMake the Switch from Me\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>AURA<\/p>\n<p>AURA Dance Theatre is the only municipal theatre of contemporary dance in Lithuania founded by a famous Lithuanian choreographer Birute Letukaite who is also the artistic director of the theatre.<\/p>\n<p>AURA represented Lithuania\u2019s contemporary dance in 28 foreign countries, performed at more than 162 festivals worked with 35 choreographers from Lithuania and abroad. Aura Dance Theatre is always being invited to participate in the openings of exhibitions and different biennials, new books presentations and town events. Theatre is active in social actions.<\/p>\n<p>AURA has about 50 municipal, national and international awards. Besides many various awards and national prizes, Birute Letukaite has received two Golden Stage Crosses \u2013 one for the choreography and the second for the significant input to the contemporary
